Welcome to the home of the Appalachian Marching Band Festival! First held in 1979, the festival has evolved into one of the premier high school band festivals in the Southeast. Set against the backdrop of the Appalachian Mountains, Kidd Brewer Stadium provides and exceptional performance venue for marching bands. This facility, combined with a highly qualified panel of nationally known adjudicators, creates a wonderful environment in which high school bands can showcase their achievements and receive positive educational feedback designed for continued growth.
